I'm Not Right For You
Where do songs come from ...
I have tried to sit down and intentionally write a song. Sometimes, I get something that i like ... but most of the time there just seems to be little inspiration. And there are the times that and idea comes and it is almost complete. That is the case with this song.
Awhile back, a friend of mine, met a new love and they were inseparable. By the second day, he had written her a song and it was really good. The name of the song was - Girl. Sometimes, you can just see the direction of a path ... so I sat down and wrote - Girl, I'm Just Not Right For You. I later shortened it to - I'm Not Right For You.
I wrote this last year. It just took awhile to get it all together. Ty Taylor did the guitar work. Dane on bass. Buck Allen did the vocals. I programmed the drums (still need work) and did the mix. I'll probably add to it as I seem to never be able to leave them alone. There is always something else that can be done. But hey, I hope you like it. Thank you all. - Daniel
